The fish stayed blue the entire fight with no black or gold color. About 5 minutes after hookup we had a free jumper do a single jump near the boat at that fish was a very strong black and gold color. We didn't fish in barra and didn't hear of any reports while we were there.

Like Ali pointed out all signs point to a black. Big head, small dorsal fin, pec fins apprear to be stiff to me. Biggest sign for me is that massive neon tail. Blues tail's dont light up like that normally.
