Christmas Tunas on the Pacifico

I don't know whether it is me or Manny but whenever I go fishing with manny we always kills them tuna.
Rolled up in town on the 24th, was only suppose to fish 1 day with Manny, his brother Mitchell and Mario on the 27th. But Manny convince me to go on the 26th as well.

We roll up to Manny's secret spot: El Banco and find the tuna jumping. After a couple of drift we pick up our first pair of tuna 70lbs and 60lbs. For the next few hours it was a 50-60 lbs every 30 minutes. Then right when mario was finishing making his awesome Ceviche the kite goes off again. Set the hook and started a quick work out of this tuna then lunch. Wrong.... 1.5 hour later we had it at color and invited him to join us for lunch and trip back to Marina Vallarta. Estimated at 180lbs, not a cow yet but soon, I will get to join the cow club.

Second day, we picked up Peter (aka tuna25) and Elan to join us. Got to the el banco and worked the fish as usual, but it was a little slower, but still managed 5 tuna to 80 lbs, a huge jack crevelle, and a bonus Dogtooth snapper that got fooled for a 5 lbs skipjack. Now that is what I call rock fishing.

There are plenty of fish out there, nothing lesss than 40 lbs. Manny is on his game as we were the only boat that did well, unless I think it was more because of me, who knows..
