Louisiana fishing - monster grouper

Been a while since I posted here..check out this huge grouper we caught the other day..it bottomed out a 100 pound scale..we had to run out of a new marina in Cocodrie since Venice got hammered by the hurricaine..plan tobe back there Jan 1..thought it was a big amberjack so we dint get too excited over it..at least until it broke the surface!!

Not that it may mean much to some naysayers here but I have known Capt. Scott for a few years. I have fished his boats (charter) and have invited him on mine a couple times.

He is as honest and hard working a skipper as you will meet. Oh, I almost forgot, he has an excellent reputation in the Gulf Coast area. If you want to catch fish in the Gulf he is Da Man.

Looks real to me. He just has his right leg bent to prop the BIG ASS fish on his knee for the pic. You can where he dragged it up by the way the tail and water on the deck are aligned.
