What size teasers are prefered in the Gulf for spreaders and dredges? I'm going to build some for my own use and I'm wondering what sizes you fine gentlemen prefer. I would assume that different sizes would be required to follow Match-The-Hatch through the season...
I dont think it matters, we always run our spreader bars rigged w/large ballyhoo on the hook.
I bought mine direct from mylar lures, so you can find their product on the internet for ideas, I plan on building my own in the future.
I also modified mine by adding a snap swivel to the main line so that I can easily swap/change the baited hook. also alot easier if it should get bit off.
we always run a bird in front of the spreader bars.
