Bio: gaffing my way through life one fish at a time

Short bio. Here we go! I started fishing back at a tender age here in south Louisiana thanks mostly to my mom and dad. Never a weekend when we didn't go and by the time i was seventeen the freshwater fix wasn't doing it any more. So I started fishing down on the coast and eventually offshore. I cut my teeth in fourchon, grand isle, cocodrie to name a few. As the years progressed with the passing of my mother a fire began to brew in me everytime i reported to work looking at concrete and traffic. The fire was the urge to fish and fish hard. With time i began my offshore exploits as we all do learning along the way and becoming better and better as you go. Well work started getting in the way of what was really important to me and as we all no time can be short, so after fourteen years in the business world i hung my coat up and decided to purue my dream. I have spent the latter part of last summer, fall, winter and spring in Venice deckhanding under the watchfull eye of capt. eddie burger. I owe alot to him and to several other catains down there that are top notch. With that being said, I have ventured out on my own and recently stated Pelagic Charters L.L.C. based out of Grand Isle, Louisiana. I will be running a 33t Contender. She is equipped with furuno navnet, auto pilot, radar etc. Shimano stand up gear and all the other goodies that a man must have. booking now and look forward to great summer.
