Any sandy bottom spots for halis off of tidelands?
I was wondering if there are any sandy ledges or good hali spots out of tidelands. I have my fishfinder but Im new to it. What should i look for. Also, is there good fishing around the pilars of the bridge? Thnx for the info.

Closest spot I know of is around the golf course "Rock-Wall", just on the other side of the bridge from tidelands, fish both sides of it (meaning below the wall and above it)...I've caught lots of halibut there....especially around grunion runs....at night
I've heard people talk about the entrance to the sweetwater channel being a good halibut spot. It's the channel where Pepper's Park is located. There's a big shallow area just to the south of the entrance. Stay on the edge. I don't target butts but do get them all over the back bay during the winter/spring time frame. Good luck!
