Lightbulb kinda new to (ocean) kayak fishing i need advice

i do alot of lake fishing and have a boat to drag me out to the kelp beds cuz im to lazy ha but anyway i need advice on how to get started


o ya i have a sit inside so im going to sell it and would like advice on what kind of kayaks to look for a sit on top for ocean fishing planning to get shit load of yellows and calicos so ya any advice would be just awesome thank you

I agree with Schneep. Anything that doesn't float or isn't tied down is liable to be lost forever. Everything will get wet.

If you weigh less than, say, 150 pounds, you can get a sufficiently stable SOT kayak pretty cheaply. I love my Cobra XL, for instance. Garage sales in beach areas often have amazing deals if you are patient.
