EARLY CHRISTMAS

Just got a new X-Factor, gator hatch, x-wing, bait tank nice seat etc.. I have a Toyata Tundra with a shell. Can anybody suggest how to transport this monster safely. It is in my living room right now, I can't wait to learn how to use this yak safely. I live in Irvine and will be getting her wet at Woodbridge lake, then will be going to the bay. I have been dreaming of this new adventure for along time.

Re: EARLY CHRISTMAS

I would throw it in the back of the truck and strap it in. I picked up an X-factor a while back and thats how I transport it and never had a problem. I'm sure there are better ways but it's cheap and easy and works. I love my X-Factor!

Re: EARLY CHRISTMAS

If you have the room in the bed of your truck use it. It will save your back! Just make sure you strap it down as well as any other lose gear you will have in the back.

Have fun.

Re: EARLY CHRISTMAS

I use a bed extender ( about 25.00 at Harbor Freight), ratchet straps, hang a red flag . Good to go!

Re: EARLY CHRISTMAS

Iv'e spent many hour's on the net today looking at rigging, looks like I'll be going to OEX at sunset for a plumbing kit for the bait tank, and some electronics.

Re: EARLY CHRISTMAS

I'm a gearho and with all the options it's going to be real hard not to have a yak that is as rigged as a nice boat. Hope the boy's at OEX at Sunset will help in this process.
