Always wear a PFD while kayaking...unless you are diving.

How in the heck am I supposed to catch sharks from my kayak if I outfit it with a shark repellent system?

The Navy doesn't need any shark repellents. And there are plenty of new guys ready to join the SEALS.

NAVSPECWARGRU has never lost a single member to shark attack if my memory serves me.

NONONG, I'm sorry to hear that they banished you from the site. That was some funny stuff. You should sign up under an alias and keep pressing for them to listen to you in order to increase the safety of the SpecWarOps. Eventually someone will see it your way. If they ban you just continue to open new accounts with new monikers. Keep on expressing your opinions to all who will listen.

Yo Alan.... Navy Seal Units will never reveal any classified information of its operations. If there was an incident with dangerous water animals it remains confidential, secret or top secret to this day.

Specwar operatives need all the edge they can get in maintaining superiority against enemy forces. The shark shield i mentioned gives them that extra edge to penetrate shark infested waters. I will not speculate on the operations scenarios but i do know that the guys training in open water qualification swims will be protected from Great White attacks.

No problemo about being banished. You see.... some spoiled brat paying person must have been insulted when i said that destroyers acting alone cannot defeat the pirate rat infestation. To defeat assymetrical type warfare on shipping one should think, look and act like an assymetrical pirate.

Ghost ships/boats with ghost crews in coastal areas can wreak havoc on the pirate mosquito boats; conduct recon and trace shore support infrastructure, anchorages or boat storage, including safe houses, store houses and command and control base camps.

The skills of the small boat ghost "pirate" crews are perfect for these types of operations. Laze/GPS target acquisition and designation can take out their shore support elements leaving the pirates without logistics. Their communications can be monitored or jammed or destroyed by capital ship or air elements using the same.

Small boat engagements can destroy the real pirate boats. Boarding and capture entirely possible by stealth operators with suppressed projectile weapons. I outlined some tac scenarios for them and they just kicked me out. Was i a mosquito or gnat? Nope. Just trying to help out.

Oh by the way.... I remember the book: Death in the Delta. Accounts of Navy Seal operations in the Mekong River Delta during the Vietnam War. If memory serves me right, there were narrations of large sharks and crocodiles while seal teams were operating in chest deep to waist deep water in the swamps.

This is probably the most rediculous thread I've read so far. If your honestly that afraid of a shark, stay out of the water. Pretty funny that you preach safety, especially after several replies to your own posts trying to sell something, another bloodydecker was the first to bring up PFDs. Thanks for some laughs.

If i were, and i am not, then your less than astute observations would not be in pursuit of the concept known as "The American Dream"....

The Logic behind safety is indeafisible. It is all about saving lives.

"indefeasible" Is that another top secret term? I am unfamiliar with that one.

Would you please do me a favor and explain the meaning of "indeafisible"?

BTW, I consider you to be more of a Damsel Fly than a mosquito or a gnat.

Perhaps they found your recommendations very insightful and are planning on using them in the future, but they were afraid that if they told you so that you might set a trap for them, in the event that you were an agent provacatuer? They are probably in the planning stages of an assault based on your tactical scenarios at this very moment.

This recent episode of South Park contains almost exactly what you described in your Tactical scenario. The last scene is so close to your description it is hard to believe that you didn't write the episode yourself.

South Park Episode Player - Fatbeard

Fatbeard.........it is so compelling, everyone should watch it right away.

Hey NONONG, do you personally own one of these Shark Shield devices?

I am afraid it might get tangled in the kelp while I'm freediving for abalone and I'd drown.
