This is one of four GW's that came out of the Shark nets in an area off the the East Coast right where we fish. This was in a 48 hour period.
GW sightings are rare but lately it's been hectic. There seems to be a breeding frenzy on the go. Guys have been hooking into juvenile fish like never before.
Some guys say it's due to the ban on Seal clubbing. More food= more GWs.

Nonong disappeared into the Bicol Region and arrived right after the floods receded a bit. A 16 hour drive back from Sorsogon City was fun. So.... who attached the shark shield to his/her kayak?

I went out a couple weeks ago right outside of dana point harbor and a kayaker hooping was hit by a boat and knocked into the water. He was alright, but didn't have any lights on him. He was hard to see and that is why he was ran over.

Nonong,

Not that I know a whole lot about shark behavior but...when we go fishing for lobster we usually go out right before it gets dark then stay out as late as it takes to get something. Safety in mumbers (or maybe it's just playing the odds...) Sometimes you just have to say, "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead."

Leslie,
I just started fishing here in DP. When are you all going out next??? Sure would like to go with somebody versus being alone and having to talk to myself for 2 hours....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh, let the insanity end.

No more nohong.

I am quite tolerant of this stuff, but man, your pushing me over the edge.

I chuckled through the first 8 pages, but number 9 made me aware of the mindless jabber being spewed from your mouth

and now, several pages later, I have come to the realization that you are enjoying this. The attention you are recieving justifies your idiocracy.

Why continue, are you getting a certain high from mindlessly babbling away. You are like that Jigsaw character from the Saw movies, teaching people righteous lessons by inflicting immense suffering.

What you don't understand, or maybe just choose to be oblivious to, is the fact that people are listening to you simply because they don't believe what is happening. You started this thread with the intention of promoting kayak safety, yet have somehow strayed from being somewhat insiteful to being downright idiotic.

Is it your god given order to promote this holy shark shield? Hopefully not, because if it is, your praying to the wrong god. Does this "god" wave money in your face, ordering you to promote his product, or risk your chances at eternal salvation?

Give me a break oh holy nohong, return to your wooden craft and cruise into the sunset, knowing all to well that when the batteries in your shark shield finally fizzle out, a plethora of sharks, of all shape and size, will be ready to inflict the gift of karma.

let it end, let it end

I just wasted 10 fuckn minutes of my time on this worthless thread wtf.

Who in their right mind thinks the Navy seals would use ANYTHING that puts out a Electronic SIGNAL, when for fucks sake they are trying to swim into hostile enemy areas STEALTHLY to avoid DETECTION WTF? What a moron.
They may as well tie GLOW sticks on their heads.
Navys and armys have sonar and other things that can detect a fucking heart beat or a whale farting a 1000nm away.
