Big water fishing yak

Im in the market and thought you guys might be able to help me make the best decision..

I have an OK frenzy now that i strictly bought to run baits out in the surf here on the east coast..its great for that but i have recently started fishing out of it quite a bit..not so great for that..i need something bigger with the functionality to fish out of all day..and something that handles big water well...the frenzy will be sold so the new yak will pull double duty....

i know there is no one yak that will do everything well..so looking for a happy medium? It needs to be stable and handle well in the breakers, then comfortable and functional to fish from..unfortunately, there arent many places around me to go try out a bunch of different models..so thats where you guys come in..would like to hear from experience with different makes and models...speed isnt a top priority but i dont want a barge either..

i have been looking at the OK big game..looks like it has everything i need...but could be on the slow side..i like the layout and looks of the tarpon 120..but have not seen one in person so im not sure how stable that would be..i cant seem to find much information on them other than they are a faster boat.....something around 12ft would be good..want something durable and excellent quality...price doesnt really matter..i want to get the best possible yak the first time..ideas? suggestions? i appreciate the help..btw im 6'2 190lb...

Are you constrained to 12ft? Most of the yaks that would perform better are 13-15. I've been happy with my extreme for many years but in the choppy east coast waters you might want something with more bow. The new X13 might be what you are looking for, as well as the other ones you suggested.

no not really constrained to 12ft..we are most likely going to lose our 4wd beach access here in the next couple of weeks..so i guess im thinking about lugging it around..i can buy a cart though...what would you suggest in the 13-15 range? I have seen posts on the new X-13..is it out yet? thanks!
