Bait soakin

Still suffering from croaker on the brain. We set our plans to hit mission bay on a sunny Sunday morn in search of big Spotfin. I crawled Jetty Worms around for an hour on 12lb. Got 2 bites, but didn't stick anything. Even though I had assembled The Mission Bay Calvary the night before.fficeffice" />

I switched to swimming Kalins grubs on 8lb and caught a halibut. Actually, I caught 10 halibut. All shorties.

After a while we dropped anchor and proceeded to get out bape soak on…

Re: Bait soakin

Stupid Mission bay spotfins!!!! I've tried to get them twice with ghost shrimp. Twice with Kalins grubs(got 1). Once with Roboworm and Gulp worm drop shots. Once with TJWs. And once with Kastmasters.

What should I try next?
