Took a kayak newb for his first paddle on Saturday night. The SI boat ramp was super busy, but for the most part, there weren't too many fights
My buddy and I worked five hoops from sundown to about 10 P.M. We called it an early night because I woke up at O-dark-thirty, drove to SD from LA, volunteered at the IGFA kids tournament with some other great fellas, then stuck around to do the ol' hoop 'n' paddle.
Anyway, we finished the night with four shorts and one nice legal, which was graciously gifted to me by my buddy (nice guy.)
As I was about to drive home, a guy asked if we had any Allen wrenches, because their boat was having some trouble. I remembered all the BS problems that boats have given me over the years...especially right at the damn tie-up... so I gifted them my Allen wrenches. Nice dude offered me forty bucks for the wrenches.... but hey, I can use all the karma I can get
I hope you guys got your boat going and killed something last night!
