BIG MO - The "LURKER"

Had some decent local Bass fishing off of P.V. on 8/26 w/ "The Great Yellow Hunter" on the Su Ming II when the bite suddenly shut off ?

Was soaking a Mac on 40 # for an exotic and found out why the bass split.

Some drunk Buds came by on their way in to heckle me getting an ass kickin and got a few pics of the mayhem ( tripping over Dogs (3), Wife, Kelp and anchor line).

No it didn't go on the Barby, it was released unharmed ( mabey a couple holes in the lip) to "tell the tale" after a little decompressing.

The Wife finnally got to see what a "BIG ONE" looks like.

Nice black but in the future you should not lift a fish that big out of the water as it may damage its internal organs even though it swims away it may die later. There are a lot of big blacks around the islands its good to see the population is coming back.

Congrats on the nice fish.

Nope. That fish is more than likely dead.

Re: BIG MO - The "LURKER"

Can I ask what was the rationale for pulling it nearly entirely out of the water? That one pic has it bent over the rail? To get a pic? show the wife? Scare the dog? Get the hook?
