Just got in. Rods are in the shower. Could have limited out on tails. About a 50/50 ratio on the pads. Largest tail was South Island Kelp before going to the Rockpile for the second time. One good size scooter. No Albies seen. We stayed to the inside of the 371. Came in with bait. Water was bitchen blue. It's beer:30.

WTG!
Wish I could be on the water. Waiting for FE to finish or at least start
working on the trailer. Yikes!

Was the RP going off? We were at SKR with the malahini and point loma. We did everything right but couldn't get bit. Had a double going and the party was crashed by 2 dogs. Lost both fish. Looked like a lot of Yellowtail in the area.

We fished pretty hard and burned a lot 'O fuel. Sounds like we were a little South of the Alberts. Might have also had something to do with the HUGE afternoon tide. Next trip might be catch and release. The family will be eating fish this week. It's my contribution to lower Milk prices. Save a Cow, eat a Fish!
What the hell, eat'em both. Surf and Turf anyone?

We pulled up behind the Mahalini as you guys where leaving. The dogs where really bad. We got the Yellowtail right after the Mahalini pulled away. I had the fish come up behind the boat and the dogs would shut it off. The Kelps out on the 425, 371 all held Yellowtail..
I heard the Albis went WFO on the 371 after we got to the dock.
The water offshore was awsume...
