| late WARRIOR report - First lets start by saying the Marines i had on board were not only Warriors, they were genuinely good people. You could not ask for a better representative for not just the marines, but also America. Having Chet and Chris on board was a true honor, and i will always remember our trip with pride. Hats of to them.

Sorry for the delay in the post...got sick on Sunday:104167739 , and was out of commission for three days...
It was nice to finally put some names to faces.
Chrisfish Chris Giapapas
Riverplayer Ed Cardoos
Fishtale Mike Greene
Warpdrive Frank S. & Kurt M.
Shinerunner Jim Paul
Murder Inc. Bob LeRoy & Casey
The Hook Harmonica John Frazier
Az.monkey
Nice to meet you all.
I arrived Friday night around 9:45. Picked up my key for and was in my slip by 11:30, and asleep by 12:30.
Awoke at 3:55 am, confused and stumbling, but manged to pull out of my slip and get a nice 1/2 scoop of bait donated in honor of the warriors (hats of to Everingham Brothers Bait Co). Slid over and met up with RiverPlayer for a nice cup of joe...HIT THE SPOT, thanks Ed. Then made my way bak to the meeting point to see John Frazier launching.
to keep this short, and to insure i actually post about the trip I will keep it photo summary......THANKS CHET AND CHRIS FOR A GREAT TRIP. It was a pleasure and a honor to have you on my boat...please, if you ever want to fish again, please don't hesitate to call me. If I'm available, you have a free pass aboard. Chris. how did you like the taste of the Calico's ?

Good Job Mike! Way to show those soldiers a good day. It means alot to not only come home in one piece but have people show appreciation for their sacrifice. This country fell short with the Nam Vets and this war is a chance for us to redeem ourselves.

Hats off to all those who participated in this awesome event! I hope we can put one of these together when my son gets home from Iraq. Thanks to all the BD'ers for giving your time and $$ to do this, to EB for the bait, and for all you servicemen and women, you have the gratitude of a nation.

BlackFish,
Mike it was good meeting on that day and appreciate the radio info you had out there for me. The seal scenario on your boat was comedy when we shot by looking after the crashing birds......
I've sent a write-up into Pacific Coast Sportfishing Magazine and was looking for some more photos of the event and if you are alright with it I'll forwad them in to see if they'll publish them with the story..
Just need the high resolution ones and send me about 3 of your best with names to sipcomg@aol.com
take care
-mike
