| 11-29-06 big ass...well butt w numbers
OK, had a friend in from St Louis...fire fighter. He, his son, me my son..went fitchen.....drifting locally. Caught a few bones,a lizard fish the size of my sardine, my buddy just before resetting a drift...reels in, and he is bendo. turns out to be a 30+ inch 11 lbs + per crappy spring scale. hooked on one hook of the trap rig, in the FIN......I missed it twice with the net, then gaffed her..then realized that she should have been lost, as barely hooked. Gorgeous day on water. almost boarded by DFG, nice to see them doing their job...but when he saw the fish he just went on his way. boat ran flawlessly....as it always does.
Ill share the numbers of my BUTT hole......if anybody else use these numbers flame me any time......

I keep getting lucky every time I bring a NEWB onboard.....
My canadian buddy gat a 28.8 lb butt
my warehouse manager got a 26 lb butt
My dad got a 13 lb butt......
all on their FIRST tries on my boat......
Me, well I have put in too many hours to count....personal best 8 lbs....
Problem is I spend my time rigging people, on MY poles..and driving the boat.
OH well
