Well I hit the bay again today. This time with kep. Seems like we've been fishing together now about 35 yrs or so and it's still a lot of fun everytime. We started out over near Harbor Drive bridge again and lit the bass up from about 0630 till 0800 for a total of 26 bass (15 Sandies and 11 Spotties). We left'em bitin again and headed to the shooting range near EB's and started a drift for Hali's in about 25' of water or so. Had a couple of short biters but no real takers. We then moved due east to the #8 Red Bouy and started a drift again. It didn't take long til kep hung a nice one of the right kind. After about a 3-4 minute fight he decked a nice 32" butt, nothin real huge, but enought for Hali steaks tonight. I had a nice one on the drift as well. Both fish on anchovies while on the drift using a sliding egg sinker/red bead hali rig on 80# test. Here are some pics.

Dammit! I gotta get me some of that! Where is that secret spot? Come on, man, don't hold out on a brother.
Do they allow gill nets in that area?
Good job (psd) on the butts, Jason. Any day you can come back with limits is a good day.

sweet haul.
now if we measure the photo of your head, divide by the circumference radius of your penis, divide by 2 and use the inverse multiplicative of 12, and then superimpose the new image on the original pic, we can get some accurate fork lengths to those toads!
jason- you gotta lay off the steroids and the nipple milk or i wont be able to fit your ass on my boat you manly man.
