9/4 - Dana Pt - From paddy crasher to fishing bud

For the regulars on here you may remember the post a month or so ago where I caught some dorado and was called out by Scott(tylerderdan) in my thread for trolling to close to his boat(http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=49990). I took my licks, and a month later we actually got to head out on my boat together for a yellowtail hunt.

We tried down by the fleet at the golfball with some strikes, but no love. Scott managed to land a nice sand bass. We trolled around until 4:30 or so and managed about 5 bonita on feathers/rapalas right off the domes. No yellows but still a nice day on the water. I also got to pick Scotts brain all day and learned alot. Thanks Scott.

Jim

Vince, I can see how that could create a long lasting friendship. Personally though, I like to have as few guns as possible pointed at my face in a given day

No scars reveiled that trip. It was a good time though. No tails on the boat, but still a good day. Jim is solid guy and definetely would fish with him again.

it took a few times to get parked back at the dock because the damn parasailing girl was out in her mini bikini. Hard to concentrate with that stuff going on.
