Dorado and YT at the 425 7/23

Took the letter carriers out again today, trolled the last 4 miles to the 425 for nothing. Decided I had had enough trolling so I picked them up and ran towards the 390. Was greasy out there with a 2-3 ft swell. Only made it about 5 miles (if that) towards the 390 when 3 seagulls directed us to a nice garage door size paddy. Three gulls sittin on it. I slowed way down and snuck up to within 200 feet and up swell alittle and just drifted. Dorado jumping off the paddie some, all around it. Chummed alittle live bait and cut chucks and chunked dines every 45 seconds or so, and put 3 flylines dines out. Didn't take long, had a double on Dorado going. Farmed 1 and landed the other, but not before getting a fresh one hooked. Took 4 Dorado like that and farmed that many as well. Fishing 15 and 20 and 30 lb, fish did not seem line shy. 20 to 30 followers that I could see were all around the boat, just Dorado everywhere. Also took 1 20lb Yellowtail there as well, nice fish.

After awhile we moved up to the paddie, alittle down swell and within 30 feet of it. I hooked 4 yellowtail in quick seccesion and handed them all off except the last 1 and we ended up with 11 Yellowtail between 8 & 13 lbs, plus the 20 lb model from earlier. That was it. We fished the paddie unmolested for well over 2 hours and then some guy called and asked if he could slide in, and another boat right behind him. I told them to come on in, but to please come in slow and don't start hollering numbers We landed 4 more Yellowtail while they watched (the other 2 boats) and then the bite just shut off. 3 boats right on top of the paddie don't work for long I told them there were Dorado all over the place and advised them to chum and drift outside the paddie, hope they did well. It was 10am and my boat was plugged, at least as plugged as I had ice for So we headed to the barn and cut fish and cleaned the boat. Not a bad day on the pond.

It was freakin GREASY out there this morning, and got GREASIER as the morning burned off 25 knots out, 25 knots home

The letters carriers are going to email pics, my camera is busted (OTL sand ) So don't want to hear "bullshit" from any of you

Sounds like a pretty good day, the bouy reports had me thinking it was pretty choppy/windy out there. Hope the fish hang around for a couple more weeks and get a little hungrier.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
