Sunday 8-17 371

371 was a freakin parking lot, snotty as hell, and not alot of fish being caught, not by me anyway..................

Hit 1 small paddie as soon as I got there for all the firecrackers you would want to pull on. I took 4.

Trolled alot for nada. Got tired of the constant bullshit on the radio (water temp-water color-type jig, you know, fish report for here and then there) so I turned it off.

Ran into Jerry on the Boilermaker and said hello.

Put my bro-in-law on a paddie on the way in, close to the south 9, he scored a 16 lb YellowTail. The boy has scored some fish here in the last week or so He will be going back to Mass a happy camper

Anyhow, the weatherman got this 1 wrong IMHO.

Soory the weather and the Albies weren't cooperating . I knew after yesterday it wasn't going to be pretty out there ! I sure thought the weather would hold up though . I got in to late last night to get a post up with the #'s . We fished a little outside all by ourselves all day . Had one of those trips of a lifetime bites . Sure would have liked to have got some tails . Wanna trade some meat ? You've had a great week though .

Heard you call up BoilerMaker on the 371. Probaley saw you there as well. We were in 18' Parker and couldn't gaff one of those little rats to save our life, I hit one of Jer's 8# Yellowtail about 6 times and the gaff would lift it out of the water, but not stick it... I haven't laughed that hard in months!

I agree with the Bullshit on the radio. Same questions, are there any fish here or there... Of course some smartass always was answere YES. With no further comment.
We may be looking for a Wensday run... But I'll be watching the conditions... I don't need another ass kicking for Rat Yellowtail's.gunz

Nice single limit of tails. I knew you were out there somewhere killing something. I know you guys had a good time. Everytime I think of paddy fishing for Yellowtail I think of Seadawg, thelog, the famous picture with tails on the gaff....

371 PARKING lot!

Seadawg, must have been you at the 371 that I left the small Yellowtail's for,

(parker 23 CC).

Went to the 371, sloppy seas, 18-20Kts on the way there, left a small Yellowtail bite (did you notice all the fish were SMALL ?) went to the 390, on the way there saw a large Yellowtail condo run over by the Dolphin 2 in the middle of several boats, including a parker cc (18 foot?) was that you srfdoc1?

Anyway the 390 was not any better, headed in , spoke with Charlie on his tin can, he nailed FISH on Saturday. where did they go?

What is with the guy asking for "any skipper with a fish report ....." from all over the pacific, is he taking a POLL ow what??? Quite anoying to say the least.

Also heard the Waatoosea guy on the radio, did he sound FAR away!

Fishbert...

That was probably the paddy that we started out fishing, then I made the misake of giving the numbers over the radio (Yapping, I know ) and the Dolphin cam roaring in 10 minutes later. Almost hit the paddy. When I left they were still there with about 15 other boats...

Harry, glad to ssee you got into some also. Boy, it was a badk straightening day though..
