Islands, RP & kelp

Dropped the Papa "J" in SI about 6am..got a nice mix from EB And started for the Rock Pile. My temp gguage has been off so calibrated the FF with frikkin 58.6 deg. water at the RP...I should have left it since it was set about 2 degrees warmer...that how it work right, the warmer the temp on the FF the closer the chickens get!?!?!?

Picked up a few rattlers, reds & lings, OK good for dinner tonight, so we head back to the islands & fish the south Kelp..Not much going on there but got a few strikes & came up with smashed head dine's....since nothing going on we fish the lee side of S. island for butts...a few raked baits but no takers again..

About 11:45 some big bright fiery thing came out from behind the clouds. Bitchin, t-shirt & shorts weather...

We finally head to green tanks about 4:30 and the wind is kickin pretty good. On a very fast drift so my bud Scotty throws out the drift bag, but we are still moving pretty good, we look & it not tied on

by the time I get the boat turned around it 's gone...what's worse I had an aprox 4lb calico just at the boat when I noticed the drift bag, & ended up breaking the cali off..

Shit happens, had fun, great weather and just installed a new radio/cd player so we had plenty of tunes..

Until next time, same fish time , same fish channel.

Thumbs up

Sounds like you had a pretty good day. What kind of FF do you have? I need to calibrate mine, and I don't want to screw with it if it's going to mess it up. Hey did your Scotty go to the same school as Jason. Lmao

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

FF

I have a 600L..very easy to calibrate...just took a digital thermometer stuck in the bait tant for a minute or so and on the 600L in one of the menus you can adjust it up or down there...took about 10 seconds...

Jason, we already ate the evidence!!!!!
