Better check the regulations for a multiday permit before posting this again. Not causing problems just informing of regulations.

NoLDR out | FYI, I know all about the multiday regulations and did not break any. Please tell me your concern.
i have done this many times and have been boarded while doing so, DFG had no issues so I want to know why you do.
To all tree huggging haters out there, DO NOT REPLY. This report was put here to help fellow hoopers that use the info!

Hmmmm think you did, you can not go on land period until you are back at your home port with a multi day permit.
(3) A Declaration for Multi-Day Fishing Trip may not be filed for a trip unless the trip is continuous and extends for a period of
12 hours or more on the first and last days of the trip and no berthing or docking is permitted within five miles of the shore

Loaded the boat with friend darin and my cousin Chris and left HH around 10 am sat for a 2 day lobster trip. The ride over was as nice as it gets, stopped by to see a friend who blew an o-ring and needed parts and oil, so after that I figured karma would be on my side. Just got set up to make bait when my cousin says “ I think I forgot my lobster card” so off we go looking for 1 and luck would have it after a call on the radio they had 1 left in two harbors. Saw the pacific edge tooling around the harbor, and off we went to make some extra bait as we brought enough to get started. Bait making was very easy near emerald bay as we had football field size areas of boiling macks, never seen so much bait as we filled the tank using sabikis, gulps, crocks and even a piece of tin foil on a hook . Well I decided to go to a spot up west that was great last season, but turned out to be a bad move. Long story short 5 sets for 10 legal’s, not terrible but I’ve been pretty spoiled so I wasn’t too happy.
ffice ffice" /> After a few radio calls to some “code” friends I decided to make a big move and pull em up and run east to an area that is pretty good but gets kind of crowded, but guess what ? Very few boats out hooping this weekend for some reason. Decided to go deep and spread them out from 110 ft to 85 feet over a ¼ mile area. Turned out to be a great move as we rounded out our day 1 limits ( 21) just before midnight. A couple more sets and we were done by 2 am, 47 legal’s ( 5 females released) and off to two harbors to anchor up for the night. Woke up at 7 am then headed in to the reefs restaurant for some great chorizo and egg burritos and hot coffee, then to eagle reef for some decent calico fishing. Another flat crossing home as I took a nap with Cousin Chris at the helm and darin on watch, about 10 miles out I hear some yelling WOW. I guess a HUGE whale crossed our bow they said it was real big. Turned out to be a great trip but forgot the camera, here is a pic of the catch. |

| ????What???
This is why team cc does not help by posting buggin reports. PM is better. Too much drama.
Got clarification about this from DFG and OP is correct.
Our lobster card is doin ok nonetheless.
Good Luck! Quote:
