| 2-8 Squiding
After reading about all the squid being caught locally, and having some on superbowl weekend, I had to get some. Went to Noah's Tackle and picked up large and medium jigs. Great store!
Everyone showed up, Brandon, Mike, Andy, Micah, Ali, and Lawrence and off we went to the middle 9 where there were several boats working the area. Set up a drift at around 600'. In went the jigs and we get hit pretty quickly. These squid can pull.
Things slowed down from there. We noticed that most boats were on the move alot. We worked our area until about 9:30 and decide to head in with 8 squid in the bag.
Didn't get a drop on ink in the boat. Back at the slip and home at 11:30 with sore arms. Will post pics a little later.
Thanks to everyone for coming out!
