C-bass strike out, but kid got fish down the coast

Departed Friday evening around 5pm with plenty of live squid, we were in search of the elusive SeaBass. We plugged away along quite a few spots all with down hill current and 63 degree water temp.
We chopped ringlets and chummed quite a bit of live steady on every anchor try. He had small sand bass and Leo's. We always had a couple dropper loops out but had the success on the junk using a white or glow lead head with one or two squid pinned on. The weather was a bit bumpy but very fishable.
This was Luke's first trip and he got yank on a bunch of fish, and caught two leo sharks, all in all a fun time.

Both leopard sharks were the same grade

We caught loads of Turd rollers, Luke brought in the most.

Right on Spike. Luke looks like he had fun and that is all that matters.

You seem pretty good with kids, even my son likes you for some reason. Well done...

Enjoy the yellowtail...

Good times no doubt, we struck out on the target species, but Gabes son had a great time he is a trooper. Tim's (Rubberhook) son jagged me out with some fresh Yellowtail fillets this morning, thanks Cory!

Spike, I am glad we got out there last night. Luke was stoked. He has been talking about it all morning.
