my neighbor and i met Jim ( los Pangueros ) at Davies at 6:00 am for some buddy boating . got some OK dines from LA Bait . muddy water and junk in the harbour so we optied to try PV for some clean water , Rocky Point had the usual suspects , calicos , whitefish , sculpin and sheephead , was a pick -pick bite so i ran to Marineland at 10:30 while Jim stayed and whacked
some more of the same . Marine land gave up sculpin by the tons on the plastics and some lazy bass too .working our way back to LB we stopped at Portugesse Bend ???????? we saw some crashing fish that turned out to be bonito , for an hour we caught bones on ##1 UFO jigs and found some co-operative sand bass that came up as well , 60 feet of water with a surface bite as we threw all our dinos to keep the fish around . they all disapeared as soon as we ran out of dinos .but the clock read 2:30 so it was time to head back to the ramp . sure beats a sharp stick in the eye

i was surprized you didn't go , talked to Dan in the parking lot and he said the water in the harbour was like chocolate , he was was right ! to many fucken bags though ................. good luck and hope you slay em .......
