An "Alfresco III" hali on Doghouse Jeff's #s

Thanks to Jeff, we caught this humongous hali today. BTW, this is my 2nd hali on the last 3 trips that ate a channel island chovie 5in Fish Trap. Thanks, Barry, also for the squid. Seaya!

Must be nice getting out all the time! Have to keep the dentist fed! Lots of hali's coming out of that area recently.

The Admiral was with me. We were trying to get Lan a hali, but no bites on the baits. I'd rather be lucky than good! We also lost some small tails too & a damn cuder ate the tail off my favorite channel chovie fish trap & I left my tray of fish traps at home. Oh well, never ending mistakes! Seaya!

Damn nice pic Harry but I got to show you how to photoshop the shoreline like the Catalina Pros!

It's all good, glad you nailed a nice one!

Funny, I've never caught inshore fish on a Channel Island chovy and I tried them alot when they first came out, but maybe that's one they haven't seen much of.

Hi Jeff,

Those seals got our baits even before it hits the water. Very frustrated.

Thanks for giving Harry's your info.

Congratulation on your fishes also.
