Question?

Back in the late seventies, a friend of mine snagged a large bug while we fished on the Seal Beach 1/2 day boat ( GW?). The Captain said it was in legal and it came home in the sack!

So, was it legal then? (1977-1978)

Yup. Caught this guy in my eclipse net. He didn't make it through the openings, although he was clearly small enough to wiggle through.

He held on and I pulled him in for a quick pic before sending him on his way.
