Went out for the Halibut with Jeff and my Brother in law, John. We decided on a gentlemen's start at 7am due to cold mornings. Forgot to tell Al of Wind-n-Down an he suffered the numb fingers till he gave me one.

Met up with him and Ramiro of ReelReal in the area,Al went left,Ramiro went hard left and we went straight ahead.Water is a nice green color with areas of runoff silting that is still very fishable closer to the Queen. Temp started out at 55 degrees and by the end of the day was playing with 57.Just as the fingers were thawing out from setting the rigs out, a bow rod goes seriously bent and John moves from the helm to it and has trouble getting it out of the holder. The fish was peelin the reel , Jeff and I are in full bedlam mode trying to clear rods cause we figure its one of the T-sharks that have been in the bay lately. What a mess-

- but John handled it well and when the fish settles down up comes a 39 inch Halibut. Now we want some photos and I forgot my camera

Jeff lets me use his and somehow I can't get it right as later we discovered that I was shooting small snippets of poor video instead.Little bit later I bounce a 24 inch fish on the deck, we also got a shovelnose, sculpins and a couple of shorts. Ramiro called later that he put a nice fish on his boat, we all head to the ramp.Pull out the fish to compare an take photos.I use Johns camera to get these photos and Ramiro's camera to get some photos for him, but some malady occurs to Ramiros camera from the time I put it in his hand and the moment he sat on it in his pocket

I had family stuff to do last night ,but when Ramiro called and told me what happened,I loaded the photos from John's camera and e-mailed them to him and he beat me to the posting.A good day was had by all except for the cameras and maybe Al. He said he was tired of Halibut and was going to fish rockfish next weekend

which gave us all a good chuckle. So heres my bro-n-law with his fish and Ramiro and him together at the back of my boat
