| oceanside inshore T Trolling
Made some macs in the receiver. John at the bait barge told me he had a few mixed in here and there, and gave me a little pole and let me catch what I needed to do some trolling. Never thought i would be making macs "in" the receiver. (yes, I paid for a scoop of 4-6" dines as well, plus tip).
Headed out and started trolling at 4-5 miles out.....water was dirty green, a few birds crashing all day, and a few good meters marks showing bait in the 270-300 depth....worked my way just north of the golf balls and just south of the domes, and then back, then zigged and zagged from 400 feet , to 200 feet...
No knock downs, no visuals...
The morning was chilly with a cold off shore win, but it let up by 11ish, and the day was pretty nice.
H20 Temps were 57 to 60 by days end.
