| Draggin' for buts report
Myself, John and Emerson went looking for some of those sand loving ambush predators A.K.A. Halibut.
Well, after 8 miles of sand and spanning across 2 good tide swing all we had for our effort was on monster mantis shrimp and a few macks. It made for a long day but we made up for with some Bar B Que burgers and spicy dogs. We stopped at a couple of rockpiles on the way home to try for some bass and we managed a few.
Newly installed raw water pumps worked like they are supposed to.
Bait was smallish sardines from Larrys very lively
Water temp was from a chilly 51 to a slightly less chilly 55.
Target area was Malibu

Sounds like you had a good day on the water at least!!!!
We probably pounded 16 miles of sand Saturday for only 1 turd roller.
Thanks for the report!
