Tough Moo-moo Fishing 0130 Trip w/pics

Hi guys,

Boy has it been tough getting out recently. Wednesday finally got out and then the weather killed up at around noon. Back to the dock by 1pm. That's ok, got my fishy fix and Mike was generous enough to give up Wind/Rain checks to fish another day !!

Hi zman91,

Thanks .... not much catchin' goin' on this trip so ..... the pictures were kinda sparce. Lotta guys don't want a picture taken with a bunch of average or even an inch-over legal fish !! Don't blame them really still .... a fish is a fish is a fish !!

Await YOUR next fishing trip report !

Thank you for the excellent report Ron. I always go back and read your old reports to make sure I didn't miss anything. You really should be in print media.

Hi Bank Robber,

Sorry for the late reply.

To the moderator ... don't know your policy on parking lot and such sales so ..... if I've done a boo boo ... sorry. I am not affiliated with the guy that organizes it !! Otherwise ....

SWAP MEET- FEB 24, 2008, SUNDAY
4am to mid-afternoon
This swapmeet has two events a year and lasted 8 years now. I attended the last one. Great deals on mostly used and some new tackle or wholesale type tackle, marine related stuff. They had 50+ tables last time. Note: Get there early ... early ... as the tables start going up at 4am !!

Getting There: Mapquest this: 2261 So. Ritchey, Santa Ana Or .....
1) Take 55 Fwy to Edinger, turn left
2) on the 2nd light, turn left (Ritchey)
3) straight for ½ mile on the left (
look for signs as the entrance is small and the sales area not easy to see from the street.)

Lots of parking as it's kind of a low-end, mini-industrial park.

Hi medunn16,

That pic was taken by Fishshirt and I got permission from him to publish it since it is the best picture of a Squid I have seen.

Here's a wierd one ..... I inserted an arrow symbol in word right after his name pointing to the pictue and it then somehow turned into a question mark. I've had this happen before but didn't notice it until just now !!!! I know why it happens ...... just forgot!
