Re: 2 Trips for Rockfish w/pics

Hi zman 91,

Why don't I use bait? It's the challenge of using an artificial whatever! I don't keep fish, don't do jackpots, have lots more fishing time (no going to the bait-tank and I can fish while the boat is still setting up without tanglng others), fish simpler rigs, have less hassels with tackle, have fewer tangles with other patrons (I can fish circles around most), and don't have to worry about the catching .... by having to depend on the existance or conditon of the bait to save my butt!!

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!! ha ha

Thanks for the reply, .... good fishing,

tsurikichi

Re: 2 Trips for Rockfish w/pics

Hi JakeFernane,

Thanks ! The truth is I have to shorten (lengthwise) that picture so that when I stretch the entire image .... the boat is in proper perspective. Saying that, You're right ......... the rail is indeed pretty close to the water which is what I prefer and one of the reasons I like the way she is built fishing-platform-wise.

I was looking at some of the boats down at SD's Big-3 and I couldn't believe how high the deck was above the water !! Good grief .... like you probably need a 20ft gaff to get your fish at the bottom of a swell at times!! Sheeh!!
