Good to know. Same story for us at Mission Bay jetties. 3 sets with only 3 shorts total. Very, very slow. Called it a night at 9 pm just as the wind was dying off. Thought about running to the big bay to hoop but sounds like it wasn't much better.

My buddy Kent and I will be going out tonight to try Mission jetties. Team Cobra kayaks Fish-n-dive and explorer. Don't run over us! Will trade bait for beer.

Yeah we went out to the big bay last night also around 10:00pm. Fast tide, but little wind. Tried three different spots with nothing but stingrays. Dogs were all over us towards the mouth. In by 2am with 7 rays and a flat tire.

Negative. I was cracking up at that thing though. Looked like they had glowsticks for navigation lights and when I turned around they were out the jetties and gone. Not sure where they were headed.
