| Theory test...
I was sitting in my office around 3:00 yesterday in El Cajon watching the temperature rise and decided screw this, I gotta go wet a line! I once heard that the worst day fishing is still better than the best day working so I loaded up the yak and headed to Tidelands park in Coranado to test this theory. Launched around 3:45 and fished till about 7pm. Meandered around the moored boats for NADA and then headed out to span 12 and worked my way around the spans dead stickin a curly tail grub and casting crank baits, and workin a double bladed chartruese spin bait. Nobody home around the bridge pillings but I did find them on the chew sitting just inside the shadow line of the bridge ambushing anything that swam past in the sun line. Picked up 9 small spotties and then moved over to the flats on the south side of the bridge for 2 short butts! The theory is true...now I am wondering just how many times I can get away with testing this theory and still keep my job!
