On the water by 7 nice sardines at the bait barge as well!!!! Went down to barn kelp caught a ton of cudas alot of nice bass a few short butts. Decide to go out sharking. Caught a dozen large mackeral went an trolled off san o
pyro bait o matic green yellow red ballyhood and green an blue chief made by fred archer

. Start trolling an the ballyhood gets hit hard. the fish sticks for 2 minutes an comes off . Ballyhood lip broke start trolling a again the bait o matic gets bit small mako about 50lbs let him go . Start trolling again an about a hour later the chief gets slammed!!! Reel starts screaming a bout an hour an a half later Guess what it is . The biggest fucking black sea bass I have ever seen. I took pics I am gonna try an post them. I would say this thing was an 350 to 400. Caught him in the canyon drop off in about 1200 feet of water which is wierd trolling at 4.7 knots an catching giant black. He took off like a champ didnt need to let the air out of him or revive him . Water was 70.6 I see dorado soon!!!!

Great job !! Like following you and your dads adventures.

Dodos !! Oh ! God .... Save me !! LAST YEAR: ...... I ride moo-moos exclusively and some of those skippers think it's cool to play paddy-hop with 65 anglers aboard .... and only 2 fish caught!! If That !! Only reason I took some of those trips was they were club fshing days !!

You and PBer please catch them before they come up and within range of my 3/4-dayers.

Cuz it was caught in only 1200 ft, not 1500 where u NEED to deflate them

Uh duh, he said he was fishing a canyon drop off in 1200' not that his jig was down at 1200'. Learn to read between the lines. This place is becoming more and more like AC every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
