Time on the water =

Time well spent.
I launched outta o'side this morning at 6:15 and made it to La Jolla at 6:50.
Weather was pretty nice,actually really nice. I felt like a dog chasing its tail today. I would see birds workin and I would bolt to 'em and throw out the trollers. I did this ALL morning. In with the trollers , wind 'em up and burn to the next spot. Water was 58-60 and a couple spots looked good, but nothing happening. The most that happened was a school of barrys at the boat nipping at a little shad-rap rappala. Back in the harbour at 2pm. Didnt here any chatter out there either. One guy did say he thought he had a seabass wrapped up in the kelp, he had been pulling on it for an hour. Any way a nice solo day on the water,
STILL BEATS WORKING.

this does count as a report right.

Oh yeah, I did use some uni-butter today on swim baits in carlsbad and got three sandbass......dinks.

Thanks for the report. Thinking of gong tomorrow morning for a couple of hours. LJ is freaking beautiful right now, no wind, no swell.

Leave em out! work it, fish are there! If they bust, throw un em! Otherwise drag somethin all the time in that zone! It's ok to let one hang while your close, always ready to go if they move! Jefe.:pourit:
