Lookin at the weather window today looked like the day, so i put everything else in it's proper order. High tide around 10am. so I took care of the morning chores, Mostly my lab who has a back injury and jammed to Lj around 8:30.
Stopped on my location from last week for a peek in the Binos and '"birds aplenty about a half mile north. The water was not lookin great with an off green color and 59 but hey, birds doin their thing are alway worth a look! I slid in to be greeted by those beautiful boils, you know the "kind".
I had the place to myself cept for a couple of Yaks inside of me. From there on it turned into a full Maylay! Numerous spots of Yellows blowin up everywhere. First cast was right into a spot a macks that were fleein for their asses, instant bendo! After ahalf hour a Parker cc showed up and they were also havin fun. I had already been pullen on numerous fish.
These were nice fish 12-16 lbs, and I was using my Cardiff stuff with 15 lb so pretty damn fun. This bite went on and on and a few more boats showed, hell ,I even called Rj on the new seaforth and they got into it as well.
13 fish later iwas done! kept a few and played around for a bit, home by 12:30 and met some bros down at Rock Bottom for lunch. ( thanx for the fillet help Mike! What a couple of hours! Jefe.
