Point Loma and beyond 3/5
Hit the water with Byeye about 1000. Great scoop of small dines from EB.
Notice the wind is up on the bay, but what the hell.
Headed outside, water is 60-61 degrees nice, BUT it's a goddamn washing machine! 4-5' WNW swell and north wind at about 10 or so... Nasty stuff, even the Cat is getting thumped.
Found soem nice rocks off the GT, tried to drift, but the tide is going out, the wind and swell is going in.. Fugetaboutit!

Headed out to the whistler... talked w/ JD on the FF3 they had a scratch bite, but nuthin smokin... and never did we, but more Ass whooping size waves... did I mention I love my CAT!!!

Byeye finaly hangs one!!!

Went inside by Zuniga jetty to salvadge the day with a but... We hope and BINGO!!!!

Nice 30-32" Butt... and a redeeming cheek shot on the gaff!!!

Nothing else outside the bay, Heard Chris had a nice Bass bite going inside, also talek with Dave and he was looking at trash outside the tourmaline area...

SLOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We picked off 3 Grumps and a spot inside just north of the ferry landing... LOTS of fish in the bay.

I'll be fishing SD Bay Saturday with my son.. so if any one want s to say hello, I'll be on 72.

GREAT time with a class act.. Mike knows how to chill when fishing! Relasxed the entire time, even when I was worrying about a stripe..

Hope this helps and will talk to ya'll on the pond in the AM>

BTW notice this is a custom Boataholics Gaff... and they are the bomb!

Good on you again pulling the cat out of the hat again!!!The weather was really jacked up today at Tourmaline w/tide/backwash-but the point was SSSSSSSSOOOOOOO Good as the tide dropped!!Glad ya had a good day and god job geting that thing on the trailer too!!

right on for the report. Sounds like you all had a great time out there. I did notice the boataholic gaff right of the bat!! I have one and I cant wait to use it. If you havent seen one yet get with Purplehaze or Spanishmack, these gaffs are the bomb!! Anyhow look forward to useing mine soon.
