| Got the Family on the Pond
Sorry for the late semi-report. Talked the wife into going on a boat ride Saturday despite the weathermans forecast. Left H.B. dock around 8am with the two girls and headed over to the Shoe. Made a couple drifts for nada but a few nibbles. Left and hit up a few of my hali holes, again for nothing. My 5 yr. old Ryann, was getting a bit upset that she wasn't bringing anything to boat but kelp, so she took the chumming into her own hands. Ended up getting skunked, but since it was supposed to be just a boat ride, wetting a line was a bonus. The weather turned out to be just short of gorgeous, with a slight chill from time to time. Truthfully, just seeing smiles on both their faces made more than just my day! Here's a few pics from the day, and BTW, Ryann is only allowed to use the bait knife while standing at the cutting board with my supervision, it's not that sharp anyway!!

The first thing to make them dislike fishing or boating for that matter is if they have to complain about wearing the life vest. I took Ryann to pick it out, she saw the one she liked and as long as it fit correctly it was cool with me. I almost can't keep her out of it now!

Good tip. I could see my kid's freaking on something silly like that but if they pick it out they'll be happy.

Steve- Whats go'in on buddy, took the tower off for some fine tuning a month or so ago and just have been working so much haven't even got to fine tune it yet. It'll be back on real soon, it better be it's gett'in cold!
Rob- I was just talking to my wife last night about the parade, if I can somehow give myself a day off the beginning of next week to decorate the boat we're definitly in. Is it just me or did it come up real fast this year?? Are you staying slipped or participating? Let me know and we can definitly hook up either night or both, always good to see ya!

We'll be cruising both nights of the parade with a a group from work and some clients, but not participating in parade itself. I'm gonna work on another cruise the following weekend; hopefully you can join us with the family. I'll let you know when I have it set up.
