Fished with one of my fishing buds on his 23 foot Blackman. We made our way to the bait grounds to load up on mackeral and bonito. No problem. Weather was flat so we decided to try a few hard to get to spots in rough weather. No love. Plan B was to run south three miles and fish a few hard bottom spots. Lots of bugs to be had here but mainly shorts. Two legals are all we could manage. Then just as fast as it all started, it stoped. Continued to work the area for another hour for one short. I dont know if it was the moon rising of the current backing off but damn did we stop geting the bugs.

We are new at this and still learning. Had a great time catching so many even though they were short and the crawl was short lived. Cant imagine what it would be like if they were all legals.

The battery in my camara took a dump so I dont have any pics.
