LJ Kelp 7-3

Spent some serious time at at LJ Kelp today. After picking up bait I made it to the grounds about 6:30.
Drifted and slow trolled dines for 5 lime dogs and 10
Calicos. Biggest bass was about 6lbs. All quality from
2-6lbs. Catch and release. It wasn't WFO you really had to work it. Big dines caused a lot of short bites.:bablefish Water was 70 degrees, wind out of the south all day but very fishable. Back in by about 3:30.
No sign of yellows.:bablefish

I was heading out around 9:00am (late, I know) and every kayak coming in had anywhere from 1 to 3 yellas.....I imagine the boaters did about the same....

30-35lb yellows off of blacks beach in 20' of water. No joke!!!!!
