Oside Flattie Report 2/25

Fished today with Shitbird after a last minute decision to take advantage of the weather window today. After a bumpy start trying to repair a trailer light with packing tape

and getting everything ready at O-dark thirty, dropped her in the water at 7:00 am.

It was a good day. Got a biter around 9:00 am with a decent legal. The skunk was off the boat. Worked the same pattern, that I've tried for many years without success, and it paid off a bit later for a really nice fish. Shitbird put on a perfect gaff shot and we stowed her in the chilly with many high fives after a great start to the day.

Pounded sand until 3:00 pm working through a nice wind chop for no joy and called it a day. That was it. A two bite day. And it's all good.

Yes, another great day on the water!

The fish looks good in the picture...she's beautifull!!!!!

Congrats on the righty and lefty. You catch them both in the same spot? Still haven't figured out what goes left and what goes right. I'm over-thinking this.

The righty was male and the Oinker lefty female. Same bite pattern.

I'm going for the cross-eyed ones next...............because this confuses the shit out of me too!
