Team Green Saturday and Sunday Report

Saturday(by 2bin)
When I woke up Saturday I didnt think the next fishing sesh would be till the 18th. However, members of Team Green: The Young Veterans had other plans in mind.

I got a call from Alan - OsideSmokey. If you dont know Alan - Here he is!

The call was an invite to jump on the vessel Apollos Revenge with two members of Team Green. As a member myself, the invite could not be turned down. TEAM GREEN!!!

Sunday Morning brought about excitement I havent felt since watching my first soft core porn on Cinemax. An added attraction was the addition of my girlfriend who also couldnt wait to hit the water.

At 9:00Am on the button ReconDoc arrives at the launch ramp. NICE BOAT DUDE! - I stare at her. Team Greens babe. She has no idea the bloodshed she will see. No idea of the adventures and memories in front of her. All she knows is that she will carry Team Green through the ups and downs of T-style fishing! After my blazed out daydream it was time to get fishing.

We baited up, then hit the water.

When we left the harbor we were not sure of the gameplan. This was afterall an inpromtu gathering. Half the team was not present, and really we were getting to know the boat.

After some cruising around and no luck we decided to head north.

Rigged up we tossed out, and found our first fish of the day.

My first WSB. Seriously. Went a little under 20". Good fight and finally brought some excitement to the day.

Not shortly after Oside decides he wants to fish too. Feesh ON!!!

The fish went 20"

Ya know... I sure like Oside catchin fish, but damn if I dont like catchin some fish myself baby...

About this time the three of us are reading structure, noting locations - basically turning into a Team. I have to add that my girl was a big help out there. I basically had another person rigging up my other pole and watching it for strikes as I wound in my artificials. THANK YOU!!

I had a little streak going and decided to clown another WSB.

Just as my superior angling skills Click the image to open in full size. were starting to present themselves, Carlos - ReconDoc shows up!! -

After a couple drifts we had a few bass counted. Not bad. But we were excited about another drift. Carlos wound up the engine and took us back to the GPS location.

Next drift led to a few fish.

Team Green showing love to neighbor clans!

While drifting the kelp Oside was part of a White hate crime. The evidence shown here might be disturbing for some.

Now Oside doesnt take too kindly to Whites hating on him. The gang hudled up and a drift by was our Answer. Ya boyee... who got got.... Whitey? Feesh ON!!

Posin with the hater Whitey?

Ummmm.... No... no dink here. Chit - CAUGHT!!! - DINKDOM.

Carlos was captain pretty much during our drifts and had his hands on the wheel most the time. He did take some tike to stick another WSB though. Atta Boy Recon. Many more dude!!

The newest and first female member to Team Green. Also the only girl I know who has caught a WSB and kissed 2Bin. Click the image to open in full size.

I finished with 5 WSB and 2 sandies.
My girl had the one WSB.
I believe Oside had 3 or more and Recon 2 or more.
Hell of a day and really made my weekend. I look forward to many more with these guys. I'm still smiling!

This has been a Team Green production. With many more to come you can trust Team Green will be representing as much as possible. Tight lines and keep it GREEN!

Sunday(by ReconDoc242)

Left out of MCRD with the wife(and official team green sandwich maker!), and of course Ulla the baitank fishing dog at 0800. Picked up some bait and we were off to 9 mile bank south. First spot at 100 fathoms, and boom bendo. After a long long reel we came up winners of this little prize:

Picked up a few more rockfish and headed for the north Coronado Island. Started a drift and the wifey picked up a buttload of sandabs including this lovely double hookup:

We picked up a few more bottom dwellers(which my mother enjoy will enjoy), then headed to the middle grounds for one last drift. Then all of a suddenly my rod goes BENDO!!! After a few minutes this bad boy came up:

My first legal ling of the year.
Then a nasty front moved in(plus we were limited out) so we headed back to S.D.
Close to S.D. we dumped the rest of the bait and I dropped a line and caught this little devil:

Overall a great day TEAM GREEN style. At all of our stops we used Unigoop to create a chum line, does this stuff work....hell yeah. (stand by soon for my unigoop bait trap that is in development).
Here are the numbers:
-Limits Rockfish
-2 Whitefish
-gazillion Sandabs(by the wife)
-1 short hali
-1 calico
-1 turdroller
This has been a Click the image to open in full size.production!
-Doc

I usually keep the small ones just for their heads. I like to take out the little microchips. I have about 200 of them sitting on my desk here. If you use a magnafine glass you can see the writing. Pretty cool.

Damn... I looked at your other posts... and you don't seem like a troll or a fuckin asshole.....

So whats up with this reply ????? A brain fart ??

If you read the other posts... Carlos understands the size limit.. understands he and his crew had a great couple days fishing.. and Everyone else has a sense of humor...

Or maybe I just didn't understand your reply....
