Last week my dad and i tried to catch bat rays at night off the public docks, but instead we caught some 10 inch squids!! i used it for bait but no luck.
We decided to try the bay again today. When we got down to newport bay, it wasn't raining!! w00t w00t!!!! i launched my kayak near the fun zone and my dad hopped around each of the public docks. my dad casted a 3 inch halloween color plastic and caught a mini halibut from one of the public docks.
i drifted between anchored boats with my kayak and caught 2 spotted bay bass with a 3 inch bay smelt color plastic.
It started getting really windy and it started raining at about 1 o clock so we bailed. We caught sum fish on the last day of '05 YAY
