SMB post X-MAS Bug Rpt. 12/26 w-pics
Went out with Brad and Eddie aboard Brad’s 2100 Seaswirl Striper “NoLDR”.

On our way out to one of the buggin’ spots, we motored past this beautiful ship. The red tide was really bad near the MDR harbor.


We hooped for 3 hours for a total of 7 legal Lobster, 2 dozen Rock Crabs, a couple Sculpin and a couple Brown Rockfish.

Here is a picture of Brad funning around with some of the bugs.


Here I’m with the two JP bugs of the night. Definitely some nice quality, but not the quantity like from years past. It's been a wierd season a long the coast, that's for sure.


Had a great time again on the water with good friends. Can’t wait to get back out there, hopefully sooner than later.

Wow real nice quality there. Real nice. I gotta go visit our office up there soon...how far out of the harbor do you go? I am not asking for any specific spots and i am not very familiar with that area, but i assume there are some good reefs or breakwaters to hoop off of....

Any where from 1/4 mile to over 15 miles up or down.
