Boat in the surf on the strand! PICS

Watched SeaTow wrestle with it for a while. Nearly rolled the boat in the surf. Looked like NEW Bayliner. What are anchors on the pointy end for?

What's seatow's working channel? Are we supposed to stick around when seatow/VA is involved with no one else around?

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

The wife and I were driving up the strand and saw that boat about 100' off shore..

She says The fish sure are in close...... I'm thinking either he's workin Butts of Fucked...

Guess it was the latter............... Man they are so lucky there was NO SURF on the strand...

Brandon that is right infront of Military houseing right between Coronado and Imperial Beach.

If your gonna beach your skiff... it's the safest spot.

Sorry I'm laughing so much... with the lack of surf he could have put down a teapot and stuck for an anchor.....

you an hail them on 16 and then they will change to another chanell. I've heard them on 18 a few times. I forget what channel they ussually switch to. C.G. ussually switches to 22, and I've also hailed them there a few times. I think c.g. ussually monitors 22. If you reported the incident and were asked to stand by, then you are required to stay until verbally cleared by c.g. or the tow company. My personal experience is that they always forget about the vessel standing by. I have always had to CALL THEM to be cleared. I have rarly heard c.g. making anyone stay in the area, but a boat in the surf would probably promt that request. I think too m,any people are afriad to hail the c.g. I have had to do it several times and never had a bad experience. Like i said for nominal stuff like a large obstruction in the channel, which I have reported a few times, and they acttually responded to, i just hailed them on 22, they were very cool about it. In mission bay the life gaurds, also on 16 keep the chanel clear.
