Kelp 6/7
Have the boat at Marina Village now.....100 yards from the bait barge....nice...got myself a 1/2 scoop tooled right out to the LJ kelp, N/W corner and drifted nicley thru a nice funnel between kelp...thru a palstic out and on the drop....whammm.

This beauty...measured right at 21 inches and 5 lbs

10lb line on my little Calcutta 250

Rest of the day was all you wanted calicos, and got bite hard when letting a scramble egg drop, tried to spool me, dove into the kelp and cut me off.

Nice day...FF said 68 degree water, green, lots of bait out there.....7-8 boats havin a great time.

looks more like a large mouth than a calico . 21" and 5#, that is a fat fucker. Divers are saying the Yellowtail are in the kelp with the WSB, eating smelt.
