I went to the cliff areas scouting for some areas to take my son float tubing and got some interesting reports from the people diving and surfing along a 5mi area of the coast. I got numerous reports of schools of WSB in the 10lb to 20lb range. The reports came from various areas where I was at. I was asked not to disclose the exact area since the divers are not taking them right now cause they want to let the population expand. But with the area having so many coves and kelp forests you shouldn't have a problem finding some. This is good news since WSB haven't been in the area in any quanity for years. As far as other fish goes, the buts are around 10lb and holding in very shallow waters on small sand bottoms with grass areas surounding them. No Yellowtail have been spoted and lots of lings and cabs have been viewed in waters to 120ft.
