today was the opening of coho in the ocean... it was awesome... we went out at florence, and caught 10 coho (6 fin clipped 2 native) and 4 chinook (biggest was 26 lbs)
anyways thats my report for now... im headin back out tomorrow...

I read all the reports, I just don't respond to calico's much or tuna @ 29 miles or less ....

today we went out again and caught 8... all coho... 2 were native's....
sorry no digi pics... we just use the standard diver then dodger/flasher, then cut herring with hoochie skirt
it was a blast though...

??? I fished salmon on the Chilliquak(I know that spelling is all fricked up) in Canada. What is 6 fin clipped 2 native mean? I hope this is not a dumb question.

fin clipped salmon are wild fish eggs raised in a hatchery.. they clip the adipose fin on them.. and those are the only coho u can keep.... and native are well... wild fish...

my dads friend smoked a pack of salmon.... best smoked salmon i have ever ever had... and we have had one bbq salmon... YUM!
